    Using a roster spot on a player who would cost more than a rookie and who would probably be about the 8th-10th best punt/kick returner on the team.

    He's 28, would only cost the vet minimum and wants to build back up his reputation which at one point had him solidified as a top 10 and even top 5 at one point in his career running back. He's third since 2009 in receptions among running backs even with sitting out a whole season. If nothing else he would 100% be a 100 fold increase over DMC.. and cheaper.

    In 2013 he played injured all season and from 2009-2012 he led the NFL in yards from scrimmage. I'm not saying to pay the guy the big bucks, but I think he is worth giving a workout to and to see what he's got, then if it's impressive in the slightest to offer him a vet minimum.

    Yes because you know all and Shonn Greene was such a good addition and worth every penny of that 10 million dollar deal.

    Here's my quick list of who would be worth adding at RB (should we be in that position for whatever reason).

    Ahmad Bradshaw
    Pierre Thomas
    Steven Jackson
    and maybe Johnathna Dwyer because 3 names makes a weak list

    Thomas would be a nice addition
    Jackson...maybe, he's pushing to be a Cowboy

    I'd sign Rice, nice goal line back? how is he in pass protection? I wouldn't pay him big bucks but I think he'd out to prove something...as far as the PR thing. Mariota would off set anything negative
