    I probably wouldn't trade Mett at all this year unless some team gives a desperation offer.

    He's only in his 2nd year, keep him here for now. See if Mariota can get through a whole season first.

    maybe you were a lot wrong

    and Mett wont touch Mariota in stats, he had his shot at LSU with an NFL roster..

    100% this. Trading him now would be stupid, Mariota hasn't even had a snap yet. There's always the chance for injuries, and I don't want to see CBJ at all this year. Plus, Mett will continue to develop and get better. Give Mariota 2 years to show he can be consistent, let Mett get better and get a bigger return.

    I disagree. We aren't likely to be ought of contention until week 14 so giving Mett the last few "meaningless games" to show what he can do will only help the team long term. And it would really suck to have Mariota injured, if he's good, in a meaningless game. I just don't see the reward worth the risk of playing Mariota in that situation. He'll have 13 or 14 starts by that time.
