I am very excited to have him as are QB love how he responded to those mistakes but we did see him go on a 90 yard TD drive afterwards, plus he made a guy jump offsides and threw with great accuracy. 7-8 in first game is awesome other than the init and fumble but afterwords he shook off the jitters and played damn good.

In the near future we will be playoff contenders. :)

I am a mett fan to be upfront. But, what I saw was almost every throw mett made the receivers had to reach for them. With the exception of the int, it looked like MM hit everyone just about on the numbers and for the most part in stride.

I think we've found our QB for the next 15 years. Finally! Very bullish!

To me, Mariota looked like he was doing everything to keep the defense in front of him, very little intent to step up in the pocket. It also looked like he is adjusting to the NFL speed. It looked like he was in slow motion out there and I also agree with his throws having too much hang time on them.

I just can't understand some of you guys.....

    Mett looked good?
dude was locking onto receivers and forcing it into double coverage. I saw multiple balls that had no chance of being caught lol!

    Mariotas passes sail or float?
Wtf?! Did you see his 3rd completion of the game, the drive after the early mistakes.. Dude threw a rocket into a small window on 3rd and long. Then drops it overtop a defender to hit Andrews in stride.

I didn't see him locking onto anyone or floating any balls out there.

Step away from the ledge guys, we're in good hands now.

I know his... Neglecting LG, C, and RT in the off season is going to get Mariotta beat to f%#k.

Can anyone tell me how anyone expects the oline to be better than last year when it was a carousel of injured qbs?

I've got concerns about the offensive line and his long term health. I have no doubt it effected most of what he did last night. If they can't do a better job in protecting him and giving him more time so he can do what he does best. He may never mount to much for the Titans. Could be like David Carr was years ago for the Texans.

Ya I agree. The great ones elevate the play of those around them. These guys will get better. They won't wanna let their guy down. They're gonna start feeling very accountable

i agree with this except for the velocity part, felt he showed zip(2 passes to Douglas) and touch when he needed to (pass to Andrews).
