Then he needs to call Evan Mathis and beg him to come to Nashville. Give the man his $5.5M he's reportedly asking for, hell, we're paying Levitre $6.5M and he's a joke..

How much does Levitre still count against cap if we cut him? I know the Titans dont just get all that money back since we are in preseason.

If we sign someone for 5.5 then have say 3 mil on the books thats 8.5 mil for a offensive guard ...

Playing guard is slightly easier than tackle. You can get away with minor errors with the help you have on both sides (tackle and center).

If Bell can't play guard or better than Levitre they better be hunting for other OL before week 1 comes around.

Whiz should consider running more boot-leg type plays that gets Mariota out of the pocket to get more time on his hands if this is going to be an on-going issue. The last thing we need is Mariota hurt.

I think whisenhunt is about protecting mariota because his job is joined with mariota's play. He was not that way with locker. Whis is going to do everything possible to make mariota successful. Personally I think it's a good call. The line has been bad for several years. Time to get it right. I also would be giving patousi , however you spell it, lots of reps in practice to get him as much playing time as I could.

Well let me say this. The problem is way bigger than Levitre cause hes not that good after his leg injury and is pretty much mailing it in for a career.

The middle of the offensive line sucks all three of them. Warmack isnt as good as advertisied i see him blowing up and getting beat. Schwencke is not very good either. Lewan is really the only guy the titans have that would be a starter on a good offensive line.Warmack MAYBE but since they made him cover up "the belly" hes never been a dominating player just a guy.

Levitre isn't working with the 2s, he is just a big number 2.

I meant I personally didn't see enough from him to know where he stands. 41 snaps and he did nothing to stand out or get exposed.

Which is considerably cheaper than breaking every QB on the roster.
