I'm saving this. I don't think he will ever be worth a 4th

 

We passed on TJ Clemmings and Tre Jackson for Fowler.

 

I don't know why y'all are bitching about the 4th round like it's a super valuable pick. A lot of 4th round picks suck. You also can't project who would have been a better pick, yada yada yada.

Hell if Fowler can get 4-5 TDs and run block, he's better than half the team already!

 

This mindset is a big reason we've sucked for the last decade.

 

Man I wish we would have picked that superstar player in the 4th round! GEE GOLLY GOSH that would have made this a great team!

Really, what can you say? There's always going to be people crying about who is drafted no matter what. The people in charge don't draft players just to piss off gotitans.com forum GMs. They draft players that think are going to help the team.

A 4th round pick isn't selling the farm or anything. It will be OK. If he gets 4-5 TDs he will be right up there with our WRs. Is it still a bad pick if he contributes just as much as the rest of the team?

 

Yeah man out draft picks always turn into studs and the titans are the envy of the league! That's why we are so talent rich. I mean the front office are the pros so everything they do is gold, how dare we critique the pros on a forum based around team discussion!

Nope. I don't watch college sports and had no idea who he played for in college. And I'm not hyping him up. I'm just saying he's "worth" a 4th round pick IF he does decently.

My point about the FO is, it wouldn't matter who was drafted and what round, there would still be people moaning about it...so what's the point? Now if it were a punter taken 2nd over all...yeah we can all agree that's stupid. But a 4th round pick, you just hope for a solid player.

 

Fowler was a full-back, but I could see him being made into an H-back, that would help get over reaching in the 4th for a FB that we'll use about 9 plays a game..

 

Still should have went O-line. There was players there in the 4th we could have taken a chance on.

Someone said Fowler is going to be a lot like Kuhn for Packers. His career stats is 591 rushing yards and 13 rushing td's in 9 years.

My problem with Fowler is that he won't make that much of a impact even if he turns out to be the best FB in the league.

You take a chance on a offensive lineman and he turns out to be starter material, he is going to help us win more games then a FB.

 

We've went O line too much to spend more picks on it. Warmack Lewan Poutassi... We should have gotten one more through free agency, but our line has so much put into it already money wise and draft pick wise that I think it was a good choice to address a different position.
