So what's the problem having two starting capable QBs again? Sounds to me like we will be able to choose which one to roll with and ship the other one off for a large ransom. Nothing wrong with this. Or if mariota faulters and doesn't take the next step, Mett steps up to the plate and starts doing what needs to be done and we send Mariota to Philly immediately after Bradford tears another ACL.

We are in a prime position to turn around this franchise for once.

 

Obviously it might turn out we wasted that first rounder pick on an unneeded position.

But with QBs, there's no sense in just accepting what you have. Swing for a QB until you find one. If Mett and mariota both look like poo in the regular season... Spend another pick on another QB. Don't sit around and coddle jake locker for 4 years -- when you know he won't win a championship

Too bad Wash have McCoy and Cousins...with RG3 hurt and an owner like Snyder they would be a potential partner if we were wiling to deal Mett at this point

 

But why would we trade mett to the skins....when mariota could end up like RG3? then we'd be scrambling for a QB....again
