Pre-Game Thread Preseason Game 2: Rams @ Titans

Yes is what preseaon is about. Lots of positions to watch and see. Many places on team there is some big choices to be made. This is a huge game for evaluating those positions.

 

The biggest thing I want to see besides OL, is our defense. The Colts OL has looked bad in preseason too. Will be vital to put pressure on Luck. Our defense needs to step up.

 

Whisenhunt did confirm Dexter McCluster's role is safe as the Titans' third-down back.

Why though?

 

If he back the chips up with the cards, i'd love to see him as #1.

 

What does that say about the intellect of people who for years were obsessed about a special teams player? He made the team and covered kicks, is not like he was starting at QB!

We used a 6th rd choice(Floyd Reese, not JF) to move up in round 5 in 2003 to get him and what we got was a backup and special teams guy for a few years. Want to argue that he didn't deserve a roster spot fine but why is that such an important thing to people?

Of all the things we could debate about Jeff fisher that's what you think about? He let some scrub hang on a while too long? Grow up!

 

Don't see Donnie Nickey listed as a Rams coach. I thought Fisher was in love with the guy?

Not even a secondary coach. Fisher's son has that job.

All a poster needs to do is mention Nickey and it has some sort of religious response. Spontaneous enthusiastic high fives!

The one person Jeff Fisher loves more than Donnie Nickey.

 

Might finally get to see Mariota play. Great.

 

I wonder how long our guys will play especially with this weird Sunday night preseason game.

And another thing I want us to win at home this year so even though this is a preseason game we need to set tone.
