    Reid = Fisher

    They're the same guy. Seriously. Both had success. Both clearly underachieved.

    Reid won a NFC Championship in '04. Fisher wons the AFC Championship in '99. Both managed to have a solid season or two once every 4-5 years. There's a lot of mediocrity in both of those careers and no Super Bowl victories for either.

    Reid had a .583 winning percentage while Fisher has .542. Both were considered top HCs at points in their careers and both probably should have been let go years before they were.

    Time heals wounds. As frustrated as I was with Fisher his last few seasons, I now try to focus on the positive things he did. I stood with the fans to applaud him for that reason.

    It's all a matter of how you choose to look at things.

    I used to think the same.

    But Reid did more with less. And is STILL doing well. Fisher? Nope.

    Reid was 99-2003 Fisher... but never started sucking terribly (consistently) like Fish has for the past decade plus.

    I am pretty sure i do if you kept reading my post i said we booed Santa!!!!

    I know plenty about my team and my fellow eagles fans, but thats besides the point. Want to see how a team greats their old coach.

    Just saying Nashville isnt Philly and someone that meant alot to this community and this Franchise deserves respect. He was working with one hand tied behind his back and still created a super bowl team. How many of those does the franchise have in its history?

    Yes exactlly.

    I live in the Philly area, and I understand what you mean. Andy definitely had many good years with the Birds, but he also made some VERY bonehead decisions on the field and in the draft, which ended up being his demise. He was terrible with the play clock and in the clutch. I do feel he deserves the respect from fans and he seems like a stand up guy though.

    Wtf... how was he working with one hand tied behind his back?

    He had way too much control/say... which is why this team DIDN'T win a Super Bowl.

    I didn't boo him or cheer for him. He deserves no effort from me. He had some of the best rosters in the nfl through the "glory" years. He slowed down yhe progression of his players and uses a 1975 playbook. I honestly believe he is a good gm, just looking at the teams he put together. But, a horrible head coach, easily in the bottom 10 hcs in the league, every year he's coached. He should have been fired so many times. He's the tebow of coaches, garbage but for some reason teams give him chances they wouldn't give to other garbage coaches.

    I will never get over the fact that we had teams loaded with probowlers and could do **** with them. 1 afc title, with those rosters, cmon.
