Bears cut Tim Jennings

Rod Hood wasn't here during the Munchak days.

He was here in the Fisher days.

 

all he did was make plays on sundays, had to go so Harper could be short and abused

 

at this point I would really like to see Riggs ahead of Blidi/Sens. I know he wasn't drafted but this kid has shown he wants it and he has shown to be at least as serviceable as those two

 

I think the Bucs probably pick him up before us but what concerns me is he was cut from the Bears. Makes me wonder if he has anything left in the tank if he's getting cut from that defense.

 

He was due a ton of money and got arrested a while back, he wasn't cut cause he sucks...

 

Our defense sucks! If we have a chance to better it, we need to jump on it.

 

Yeah ESPN reported it as Bears starting CB cut. So it sounds like the move was definitely more about money than a drop off in play. I am certain he is still an upgrade over BWW and Sensabaugh.

 

Can he play center..?

 

We're 2nd on the waiver wire, so as long as the Bucs pass on him he's ours if we want him. I'll be interested to see how many waiver claims we put in before opening day. Wouldn't mind picking up a few extra o-linemen. I'm personally pulling for the Bengals to cut Andrew Whitworth. He's older (I think 34) but they drafted Fisher and Ogbuehi this year and I think they still have Andre Smith, so there's a good chance he's released if he's not been already. No way they need 4 OT's.
