    Personally I dont see where what I post online during my personal time has anything to do with my job. Everyone has a life outside of work. As long as you don't bring baggage to work that affects you or others in the work enviroment, what does it matter?

    Is being a racist/sexist/**** etc against the law? Is it grounds for punishment from an employer if you haven't expressed those views in the work place?

    I understand that employers can and do use such things against employees but it's stupid and shouldnt be allowed.

    It's sad that a person has to watch their every move in their personal life in fear of punishment from their employer. Especially when it comes to the internet.

    I agree wholeheartedly. But the reality is what you post online, illegal or legal, can affect your job.
