As I said before. No way he reaches our PS. A team will pick him up. He might not be able to block real well, but he has hands.

 

Coffman is Twin TE starter material.

 

That's not true at all. We have no idea what other teams need/want. I agree that there is a good chance he will be signed somewhere, but to say there is no chance is going a bit too far.

Personally I'd rather dump Stevens and keep Supernaw, but I think they like Stevens for his blocking.

 

Supernaw is still eligible for the PS but with the amount of exposure he's gotten this preseason I dont know that he'll be there for long, probably gets claimed, there is no way we carry 5 TE's

my guess is we like him, but not enough to keep him on the final roster...

 

Fast/athletic and good hands TEs are hard to come by right now. I saw a few catches him and Coffman did made me think "how the hell they catch that."

I understand what you're saying. I hope he does make our PS.

 

Agreed. Keeping 5 TEs would be silly. I like Supernaw to but he doesn't beat out the other 4 we have.

 

With Whiz inability to stick to the run, I don't see any upside in keeping a "Run-only" TE in Stevens. If that's the case, you can play one of Coffman/Supernaw and have Fowler lined up in the backfield to be the all world blocker he supposed to be.

Have I told you how much I hate the Fowler pick?
