ESPN just dropped this huge article today describing, in detail, the methods that the Patriots used to cheat in the 00s. This includes taping signals, stealing play sheets, going into opponents hotels.. etc. I'm honestly only halfway through the article because, like I said, it's HUGE. But so far it is extremely eye-opening and worth the read.

Saints did this same stuff, netted them a 6-10 season years ago.... Half the crap New England pulls is just to mess with you and force you into wasting time prepping for things they're not even doing...

Really? Just to mess with other team's head?

I think some in the sport know things that we don't. You can't care about football if you don't care about the integrity of the game.

    Cheaters are scum.

That's why Deflate-gate was about more than just the Colts game. It's a pattern of cheating, and people just wanted the Patriots to suffer a penalty sever enough to deter them from continuing this culture.

You tagged my first response to this as unreadable...... perhaps if you removed your rose colored glasses you might understand that the pats have indeed done these things. In fact, they have been punished for these things on more than one occasion. Perhaps a more reasonable theory other than you wearing rose colored glasses is That maybe coach belicheat has stolen your gotitans log in info and is posting while you are away... better change your password, fast.

Sure some of it is true, but they're not actively doing everything everyone is suspicious of... they just want to throw you off by making you spend time thinking about the non football things

    It's genius really

While they're studing film you're out there walking in circles trying to stay ahead of them

If you aren't trying to cheat, then you aren't trying to win.

Actually the article isn't about the Patriots cheating, although it does rehash what we already know about Spygate. Rather the point of the article is the extent to which the NFL tried to make it go away.

There is the small blurp below about other ways of cheating, but for some reason no actual examples or sources given. My belief is that the practices are probably not confined to the Patriots and nobody wants to attract attention. Can't prove it though.
