Goodell is just an extension of the owners. And the entire process in which the NFL has administrated their player policies entirely toward profit is reprehensible. I absolutely can't stand the Patriots. They've been given a pass on so many violations from 9/11 until now and for no other reason I can think of except Kraft understands the politics of the game.

Every NFL player knows the Patriots have "gamed" the rules during their "dynasty". It's a mob like approach. They robbed several fanbases of their own enjoyment of a Lombardi.

It's bittersweet for me. I'm glad that Brady and Kraft finally got "stung" by the same BS league player approach that gave them an advantage. I'm glad they had enough clout to reverse the process legally which I've been screaming for over a decade. But I'm sad they yet again don't appear to have to pay the price.

It almost makes me think this story has played out entirely as Kraft and Goodell planned out in some undisclosed back room on Kraft's property.

Funny how you weren't chanting this when no proof was laid out for Winston.

    Wonder why....

I don't disagree that the Patriots have done these things, and would like to have seen them punished much more extensively....BUT, this whole deflategate thing was just silly from the start IMO for reasons that I have stated previously and extensively (so I will not rehash them now).

The time to throw the book at them was back when they were caught in the spygate issue....and it did not happen. Shame on the league for that. However, wanting them punished for 15 years of past sins using the deflategate issue as the vessel for delivering the punishment is not right, and not the proper way to handle this IMO.

League looks bad in both instances....for different reasons. Hopefully the owners (who pull Goodell's strings) start to recognize the growing number of fans who are waking up to these issues with league administration pretty soon, because I do see support for the league starting to fall off if these issues are not mitigated relatively soon.

Anyone find it Ironic that Goodell wanted to suspend Tom Brady, in part, because of his refusal to cooperate with the investigation (by not turning over his cell phone). But Goodell himself had denied the NFLPA's reqeust for documents on the investigation lol

You cant believe half of what espn puts out there. They have been caught before reporting total made up BS just to get clicks and get people watching their shows. most recently they had an article about how tom brady apologized to goodell and the entire nfl and attached some reporters name to it... when that reporter found out he publicly blasted espn for writing fake reports and using his name.

Espn is the patriots of the news world

If I were a team owner, I would surely be cheating.

1st of all, I would always have the restrooms in the opposing teams locker room be 'out of order' ... they would have to pee so bad during the game, and no where to go hahaha. I bet that would alter their play a little bit.

Also I would do research on all the opposing team's players' personal lives before the game (all you have to do is get on FB lol). Then on the jumbotron between plays I would have a roast of each player ... really personal stuff. Probably about their wives or mothers or something lol. I don't care who you are, if 70,000 people are all laughing at your wife/mother its gonna get into your head.

You could always lower the oxygen levels in their locker rooms too ... make it harder for them to focus and make adjustments during the half.

Or perhaps maybe I do a little cloud seeding above the stadium whenever we play an elite team? Nothing like a rainy, sloppy game to even the playing field against a superior opponent.

Pay 'fans' to shine lasers into the opposing QBs eyes during crucial plays? I'm not above that ... hell, doesn't even have to be a laser, just give some guy on the sideline a shiny object on a sunny day.

How about a very thin coating of grease on the outside of all the gatorade cups? Try catching/throwing with grease on your gloves/hands

Send someone over to the team hotel with the flu and have them spread the germs around as much as possible.

Yep. I would be cheating for sure
