Mariota best start for a rookie debut

    Excited for the future but buds were weak and after the start (pick 6) you knew it was going to be a blow out. Same thing happened when the Seahawks beat the tar out of the Broncos a couple super bowls ago

    Granted we were playing the only team worse than the Titans last year, but I gotta admit, when Mariota threw his second TD, there were goosebumps on me...I'm 53, I don't get a lot of goosebumps. Could the long nightmare for the Titans nation finally be over? I don't kow, but I do know who leads the AFC South tonight, the TITANS baby!!!Go TENNESSEE>>>>>

    True enough, but do you not believe MM is becoming familiar with new tricks every practice? This kid is smart. He will progress faster than other teams lean his old moves. Have faith.

    Lol, it turned out I didn't need to see the ENTIRE game... I left for work at 6:30 and it was 35-7 lol.. Good news is, I'm off this Sunday..

    If there's two things I noticed - granted that have been noticed before - really stood out on this play:

    1. Mariota is probably one of the calmest QB's in the pocket I've EVER seen.

    2. That pass was basically a "flick of the wrist" throw - in effort to catch the OLB on his heels...... with that being said, that was a HELL OF A RELEASE for that kind of throw.


    Just my opinion.
