In the years since the Oilers / Titans made the move to Nashville, I can't recall any time other than the trip to the Super Bowl that the Titans have received as much press as they have after this win. I believe with Mariota we have a real difference maker, and so far he seems unaffected by the attention. As a fan and as a Nashville resident I really like when our team gets positive national press, but I have mixed feelings for how this may affect this young team as a whole, especially when we're playing better teams later in the schedule. After yesterday nobody will be approaching us as an easy W anymore. What are your takes on this.

Ticket sales are up, excitement is back into the fans, the attention is focused our way a little more nationally, but we'll still get overlooked by most. Even the year we went 10-0 we got very little publicity. Perhaps having a household name now will help, but we need more wins first... 1-0 is a good start.

We have been getting National attention after this game, but it seems to be about 50/50 on the reviews right now.

I even heard one person on ESPN say that Jameis Winston was playing a "big boy game" and was allowed to use the entire playbook. And that he looked bad because he was more pro ready and allowed to do more (lol, that makes zero sense)... Then went on to say that the Titans were hiding Mariota (since he only had 16 passes lol) ... I guess he didn't realize that we basically stopped playing after halftime, and completely took Marcus out of the game by half time.

Although he was getting some love from some others.

No big deal though. He just needs to keep playing his game and everyone will come around eventually

Hodge was praising MM foot work and quick delivery and said that the Bucs made a mistake not taking him.

Hodge called our lasts top 3 QB taken correctly ... hopefully he is right on this one as well haha
