    Who are you talking to? You keep saying "you", but I haven't said any of those things.

    If we are talking about what I said...

    I said Mariota had striking similarities to A. Rodgers. That was pre-draft.

    I was one of a handful of members that said I would pick Mariota even if Winston was still on the board. Pre-draft.

    Take off the tinfoil hat, buddy. Not everyone is out to get your boy. Refer to my first post as to why it's too early to kneel before the king.

    If you are a first round QB... a HIGH first rounder, at that... if you are not starting 5 years into your career, unless due to injury, you are a bust.

    I'm good with optimism. We all should have that. Starting a "I told you so" thread indicates a done deal. And we're far from that.

    Yet he was given multiple opportunities and proved he couldn't latch onto a backup role anywhere else in the league. Was Fisher holding him back when he blew a shot with the Eagles, Packers and Browns? My gawd, man. The BROWNS.

    Bros, @TitanUpB4UGO and @TitanJeff let's keep the past in the past and focus on our bright future. It's early to grade Mariota, but let's keep our past QB's out of this and not compare him to anyone yet. Can't compare a present day QB to an accomplished QB or a bum QB because the career hasn't played out yet.

    Even then you can't compare QB's of the present to QB's of the past because today's NFL is so different from the NFL of the old days.

    However, Mariota likens himself to Rogers and when it's all said and done, I hope he can put up stats even remotely close to what Rodgers has done.
