Why didnt we draft Hyde

Supports Griffin? The hell?

 

I don't know about that...I think it would have taken more than a decent RB last year to improve us that much.

 

Who the hell supports Griffin? let me know so I can pop loose their knee caps..

 

Fortunately, there is currently a very, very talented group of RBs right now in CFB. Fournette, Chubb, Henry, Williams, Collins, Hurd.... and that's only in the SEC. You also have Perine, Elliot, Cook and several others.... lots of really, really good RBs in college football right now. We should be able to find one out of all those guys in the next couple of drafts.

 

I said "probably".

But a better running game could have helped swing a game or two... which could be the difference of drafting high and not-so-high.

Although a team like, say, Jacksonville didn't need a QB... they might havd pulled the trigger on some kind of trade to a team that wanted him.

Then it would be 3 years in a row we draft a RB.

Sankey will be serviceable but the problem is that the Titans took him as the FIRST RB off the board. We didn't do a good job evaluating the talent.

 

As talented as all of those guys, they're all going to have a lot of miles on them by the time they declare. One of the many reasons I didn't want Sankey. Dude had over 640 carries in college.
