Least favorite moment as a Titans fan?

Probably when McNair was traded to Baltimore.

Before then I was young, didn't really get to watch the games cause I live out of state and just a casual football fan. All I knew was McNair was my favorite football player ever at that point. Also, I was more into WWF growing up.

I started getting really invested into the team around '04-05, when I got my first car and could drive places that had Sunday Ticket. Then he gets traded and I just felt gutted.

All my memories of him are mostly highlights, when they played Texas teams, playoff games or destroying everyone on Madden with him.

Also the very first football jersey I have ever gotten. All my relatives live in TN, so they would mail me Titans stuff for Christmas.

 

When Bud made us draft his guy. Mad as a hornet for weeks...

 

Name a point between 2004-August 2015. Good chance that many of these moments qualify.

2008 loss was not that depressing, because I thought it was the start of a beautiful era for the Titans. Dead wrong.
2009-2014 were especially bad. No hope whatsoever. Titans had to have lost a ton of fans in this stretch.

Never thought Locker could be a worse pick than VY. It was worse.

59-0 was just funny to me. Not even mad. They deserved that beating.

 

I was disappointed when we drafted Jake, but wasn't mad.

 

I remember thinking we couldn't go wrong with that pick. VY, Leinart, Cutler, Williams, Bush. Clearly we were going QB but I liked them all.

We are all humbled in life lol. Perfect example of pre-draft hype not being in line with reality.

 

Both losses to the Ravens. F them and their mothers.

But at the same time we handed them both games. Dominated in every category except the one that mattered the most... the scoreboard. Oh and Al Del Greco is a twat.

I will always be butthurt about those losses until we win a Super Bowl. Luckily I block them out of my mind until someone brings them up and then I get really pissed and can't talk about it. But then I keep talking about it and get more pissed.

I'll never forget Billick saying "**** the Titans." If we are ever in reverse roles playing up there in Baltimore, I want whoever our coach is to do the exact same thing. Fire up the team and go out there and kill those pieces of sh*t. I have nothing against their current players aside from Suggs, but someone is gonna have to pay in that game.

I can't go up to Baltimore for a playoff game though. I know I wouldn't be able to contain myself if we won... And then my body would be found in Ray Lewis' backyard the next morning.

 

Other terrible moments... When we drafted Pacman, Locker, and Warmack.

There were other horrible 1st round draft picks obviously, but none of them genuinely pissed me off like those three did.

 

Man, i wanted to kill that fn ref. It was at least an entire second past zero. The worst part was half our d saw it too and didn't really play.

 

I think it was reed.

 

I came so close to throwing away my fan card when the team drafted Locker.

I remember being at a draft party as the only Titans fan saying "Anyone but Locker" over and over before the pick came in. All my friends laughed when he was drafted.

I was pretty much on autopilot during his tenure. I still rooted for the team, but I never attended any games or wanted to and became more into the Preds.

But now, I love the pick.

If not for Locker playing a total of like 8 games over the past 4 seasons, we probably would of never gotten Mariota who looks like the real deal.
