He reminds me of one of the Stepford Wives. A trained Robot with no personality, ready to crack at any moment.

Do not get me wrong, I like Mariota. I am rooting for him. Heck, he still managed to throw 2 TD's this week.

I've seen other athletes post game with towels.

They just got out of a hot shower and don't want sweat dripping all over the podium.

Honestly it probably is a nervous thing. So hes not the best public speaker, who the F cares. We drafted him to throw the football.

I can speak for myself, after a hard workout it takes me a long time to cool down. Even after a shower, especially if it's hot out, sometimes I'll keep sweating for a while so I'd imagin he just wants to keep the sweat from dripping all over the place.

And even if it's just a nervous habit who the hell cares.

Sweat? I bet TOM BRADY wouldn't be sweating! This guy will never be a real QB sweating and answering questions the way he does!

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I think he's a pretty good public speaker.

Yes and no. He says all the right things and communicates his points well but he is shaky and nervous. I look past it because I know I'd be nervous too, but some people can't..

Are you related to RT? I may regret actually giving this thread any serious response but here goes....I doubt he has actually had to do much of this until now....most colleges limit, for good reason, student athlete press time. If this is really what has got you concerned about the Titans you are watching a different game than I am. Maybe the O line should have their own towels....to cover their heads in shame. THAT IS SOMETHING REAL TO WORRY ABOUT.

You have issues. And you have obviously not seen Mariota during a single game, otherwise you would know that you are talking straight from your arse.

The real concern is the source of the towel. We don't want our franchise QB exposing himself to infection or illness!!!!!1
