I'm actually optomistic about the game. Mostly because we moved the ball both games. Getting Delanie back will be huge, plus if McCourty suits up we have a shot at slowing down their passing game.

I think we're a lot better than we showed yesterday, but not as polished as we looked Week 1. Somewhere in between. The good thing that I'm seeing is that we're competing and making plays on both sides of the ball.

I give them the advantage because they've played together but I definitely think we can compete and could beat them if we hold them under 21-23.

I am very happy we didn't draft Hyde. If we did, I would bet we won 1-3 more games. That means no Mariota. Thankfully, we didn't draft him. Much rather have him than Hyde.

Hyde is a VERY average running back with a good o-line.

Nothing special. He takes what is there, but that's about it.

That spin move/reverse field move the other night was the best thing he's ever done in his life.

    You and JCB... wtf.

No. A decent running back would not have won us a single game more.

Running backs don't make that big of a difference in the NFL.

The browns game last year would have made the difference. The 4th down play, he would have got. We couldn't get first downs by running the ball the whole second half and lost. Hyde would have, that's 1 win.

Lost to the Redskins by 2 points. Sankey rushed for an average of 3 yards that game. Had a chance to score twice more in the second half, but failed to convert short yardage situation.

Lost on Monday night to the Steelers where Sankey rushed for a grand ole 38 yards. Zach was QB and played very well that game after the pick 6.

Lost the Jets by 5 in week 15. Greene lead us in rushing with a 3.0 average. Didn't score a TD that game.

Lost to the Jags by 8 in week 16. Sankey led the way with 44 yards. The Jags...44 yards.

That's 5 games we lost within one score. He would have won us at worst case 2 more games. Guaranteed win against the Browns even if we had him for only 1 play.

4 wins puts us at pick pick 4-6. Jags and Oakland would have both traded that pick to someone. No way we get Mariota. Thanks for not drafting Hyde

It didn't look like Hyde produced much in week #2.

In today's NFL, the RB seems to be easily replaceable with another younger RB in the upcoming draft. RBs are also no longer drafted high in the draft.
RBs don't have a long lifespan in the NFL these days. See what happened to Trent Richardson.

Current ypc for this season: (ESPN)
    Sankey 4.8
    Hyde 5.4

Not really a big difference than the two. I know it's only based off of two games, but given the facts due to this thread.
