Pagano blames Luck for the MNF loss.

The colts have played pretty real bad this season, but they have faced 2 tough defenses back to back. I don't expect Luck to look like that against the Titans D. Esp if McCourty is still out and they have TY healthy, then I expect to see some big plays from their passing game against our weak secondary.

However, I think we could put up some points against their D as well. They are pretty banged up and coming off a short week. If the OL can hold up and protect MM, then I think that it could be a higher scoring game.

One thing we might take note of though ... the Jets NEVER abandoned the rung game. Even though they weren't running all that great they stuck with it. It really helped them to burn time off the clock and keep Luck off the field. And allowed Fitz some good PA passes as well.

We need to keep running the ball for 4Q against the colts, even if it isn't super effective.

 

Also, there were some major mistakes made by the colts that aren't likely to happen again. Gore fumbling without being touched on an easy TD run, lots of penalties ... We probably won't be so fortunate when we play them.

 

If V. Davis is out this Sunday, I think the colts play a lot of zone, which will only be helpful to M. Mariota.
But let's not kid ourselves, it may be our "Home" Opener BUT colts fans may outnumber Titan fans out there

 

Defensively we avoided everything except Travis Benjamin, that guy single handily tore down our team on punt returns and big yardage catches. Phillip Dorsett hasn't shown to be that good a player as Benjamin is. Next time we play the Browns we better not even think about punting the ball to Travis Benjamin.. Then on defense we absolutely need safety help to contain him... Just too damn fast.

 

Umm. Nope. That never happened when the Titans were horrible, and manning was with the colts. What makes you think that an 0-2 colts team will outnumber the Titans in fans in TN?

I live in Indiana, and half of the colts fans here wear manning Broncos jerseys.

 

I'm still waiting for the Trent Richardson signing to... "=Super Bowl", as someone prominent in the organization tweeted...

 

The NFL recognizes that elite QBs are a dying breed, so they've crowned him as the best before he's proven anything. They want fans to believe Luck is as good as the Brady, Rodgers, Manning, Brees, Ruthlessraper, etc.

We'll just have to sit back and deal with hearing he's the best QB in the league for the next decade.

It's a classic example of media brainwashing. And it has worked on 99% of NFL fans. Hasn't worked on me.

I never let the media win.

Anyone who says he's the best hasn't watched many of his games. I've watched most of Luck's games and I've come away unimpressed more often than not.

 

It's not just media trying to crown him. I hate saying games/plays rigged, but some of the calls he gets are some straight up next level bull ****.

If you got and rewatch some of these 4th quarter come backs this dude has, it will be garbage like 4th & 12, he throws a ugly incomplete pass. Then a wild late flag appears! "Holding, defense. Automatic first down" "Pass interference, defense. Automatic first down."

The league babies him and pisses me off.

 

I'm ready for the league to start babying Mariota.
