When will Mariota surpass them?

Mariota did miss some throws in the first half. Threw a couple behind receivers ect... But nothing outragous. He settled down and got going.

As for the question at hand, I went with 4-8. It is pretty sad that he's on pace to shatter our last 3 QBs TD totals combined.

 

I'll purposely piss my pants if he throws 48 TDs.

 

I see him 25+ TD's this year in the air

I said 4-8, expecting him to do it around game seven or eight.

But wow, the fact the bar is that low is pathetic.

 

I did indeed see him making some awful throws and not getting rid of the ball when he should; however, I am putting this on getting shaken up by having the dawg pound in the backfield for the entire game.

 

Mariota made some bad throws and made some bad decisions.

Nothing more, nothing less.

He rebounded in the second half but played like a rookie the first.

 

I'm hoping he keeps it up..I see him throwing 30..which would be a refreshing change to see...even McNair's best was 24

 

It's not very surprising. He faced a Tampa-2 defense, which was something he was very familiar with already. Week 2 he faced a 3-4 defense and was constantly rushed. He threw off target a few times and caught a couple lucky breaks but he got better as the game went on.

 

Good lord the negativity from this person...sheesh

What's your end game here? MM8 has had...2...two...yes, 2! NFL starts. One game he was lights out phenomenal and the other was not so good. Lots of mistakes from the entire team from players to coaches. Yet, your dooms day about him is rather absurd.

He's our starter, he's going to be good and he's the best we've had since Air McNair. What are you a Mett fanboy and just reaching for arguments?
