The 2015-2016 College Football Thread

Bama is still making the playoff. The only game left that I'm worried about is A&M. You can't commit 5 turnovers and expect to win. Once again Alabama beat themselves. The Bateman start was pretty dumb, Henry should get the ball more, and well I don't really remember much of the game so guess I should rewatch it.

 

Malzahn is about to be out the door. He's lost control of that program and after the LSU game people are starting to turn on him. He keeps his job if he beats Alabama but I don't see that happening.

 

First time losing a home game in 2 years. Try again.

 

Mizzou has not impressed this year.. Kentucky hosts them this weekend. Upset?

To be honest, that LSU run game looked legit. Auburn players getting trucked and helicoptered all over.

 

Fournette is a beast but let's not underestimate how bad Auburn's run D is. 238 yards on the ground to Louisville and 161 to Jax St.

LSU is good and are a contender in the West but let's not pretend beating Auburn carries as much weight as ESPN claims.

 

I was actually just referring to how Fournette made them look like high school kids. That run game will be tough for anybody to handle. Just saying the ranking showed by ESPN for that particular team is not too far off base.

 

I don't know about that. Not unless by "about to be" you mean 3-4 years from now. Malzahn was clearly who won that championship for them and he got them back to the big game the year he was made coach.

Maybe if he sucks it up completely for the next three years or so, maybe.

 

Regarding Auburn most of those who thought they could win the sec totally disrespected nick Marshall and what he did for that team.

Marshall was why that offense worked so well and many people assumed it was the system and they could even be better with more of a down field passing game. Marshall was incredible at making decisions and running that option. Their running game is not the same without him.
