As of right now, I believe the coaching needs to get better.

On offense, their sacks/pressure came from overloads. When the simply brought 4 or 5 we did a good job. When they started with the overloads (6 or more), we should have adjusted and ran shorter routes. Whisenhunt's playbook is full of slow developing WR routes. For now, he needs to throw these pages away and stick with what is working. Marcus has to make adjustments also.

I was extremely upset to hear that two of our lineman said they gave us different looks that caught us off guard (codeword: we were unprepared). This is poor coaching.

Who is our ST coach (rhetorical)?
On the punt return, did anyone notice how the punt team was all bunched together? They did not stay in their lanes, which led to the left side of the field being wide open. This is poor coaching.

We got a penalty earlier in the game where our gunner was flagged for running out of bounds and not making an attempt to reenter the field of play. This is pretty common with us (ex. Tommie Campbell). This is poor coaching.

All of our coverage teams are slow, time to make some changes.

    On defense (mainly questions):
Why isn't Al Woods starting or at least getting the majority of the NT snaps?

And I know, we did a solid job overall, but how were they able to get Benjamin matched up one on one with our 2 worst corners on two separate occasions?

No -10-yard loss actually, there was a lineman holding a defender by the facemask after he got blown up from not having any help

Or just not send your 5 receivers all out at once, hold one back to help this lousy OLine, because they desperately need the 6th guy to hold off 4-5 pass rushers

2 words. Penalties and turnovers. We win that game without those 2 things.

We have got to start using our TEs to chip the OLbers before getting into their route. On the 1st play of the game we had 2 TEs on the right next to Poutasi. They both run right past the Olber without touching him. Poutasi blocks the DE. Mariotta throws a quick pass to the left and gets weal loped from behind by the untouched Olber. How does the Olber come untouched when you have 2tes lined right up infront of him. We have to help Poutasi out with TEs. Against man coverage we have to give our Wrs time to get open which means giving mariotta time.

The penalties were killer in that game.

Trade Mett for the entire Dallas OL. That should help.

I'd like to see some Mett packages to stretch the defense at time when whiz/mariota dink and dunk stuff starts getting stuffed.
