I think the jump ball has a considerably lower rate of success than running it up the middle.

I will say this though, the Colts absolutely knew what was coming. Their defensive linemen on that side of the formation shifted at almost the exact time the ball was snapped. Screwed up the blocking angles.

Yeah they knew it. But they also had guys coming around the other edge hence the reason Fowler was running for his life. Not sure a bootleg works there either.

Their were 11 guys coming at Fowler on that play. We should have put the game in Matcus' hands

Power run identity? I really hope that's not the case. Coaches can't even decide on the backfield yet. We don't have an official starter for RB like most teams. Just decide on one guy and go from there. This doesn't build any confidence for our running backs by switching it up all the time. I was very disappointed the way things turned out at the end there. The Titans are so close to being a 3-0 team right now if it weren't for stupid mistakes.

They've GOT to be more creative than that down there.

You have a QB that can run. Use it.

He/They havent made use of this strength enough and when he has it seems his advantage isn't as much of one at this level because the line backers are seemingly just as fast. One thing I have loved that he has done has totally focused on being a pocket passer. He hasn't even really thought to run. And he's a better pocket passer because of it. Sooner than later he needs to start using legs. At the moment he's lulling the defense to sleep on this part of his game. One day, One play he's going to take them by surprise and run it 80 yards.

He can't run a lot, because he's not fast enough on the edge. But he can run much like McNair did.

    Much like Wilson does.

This staff just completely ignores that element. And it'd give us a huge advantage and help him a lot more passing if we allowed him to run here and there.

Yeah, let's put the game in the hands of a 3rd level RB and an under performing O line instead of our multi threat 1st round QB that might be the fastest guy on the team. But what do I know...I'm not a super duper smart NFL coach or anything...

Get used to this IMO....shuffling RBs is what Whis did all of last season, and I do not seem to remember any RBs making a huge name for themselves with him in Arizona as well.

Sankey looks good in game one, then hardly shows up on offense in the following two games. McCluster looked ok in game 2, followed by Andrews getting the rock yesterday. I will be surprised if one of these three ever really becomes the feature back (did not mention Terrance West, who did not even dress yesterday LOL)...I have a feeling that the merry-go-round will continue like it did last season.
