I know I'm not a genius NFL football coach or anything but for the life of me I don't understand why you would put the play of the game in the hands of a 3rd level RB and an under performing O line instead of your 1st round QB that is a multiple threat and setting records as a rookie. Some times coaches seems to out smart themselves. Also, any d that gives up 2 3 and 20 long passes...one for a 43 yard gain and the second for a 35 yard TD should be ashamed to even show up for their paycheck on Tuesday. Just saying...haven't watched but would be willing to lay a bet that michelle "whiffin" griffin was out of place on both...have I ever told anyone how much I hate that guy?

Griffin actually had a good game.

They can't leave BWW by himself though

Did we quit blitzing Luck late? That's when he stated hitting the seams.

    We did
We did let up some but it's no excuse for the 3rd down plays that we gave u. It came down to our dbs not making a play on the football.

Yeah, especially on that long TD pass that put them up by one. Huff nearly ducked to get out of the way of the ball's path on that. If he would have turned around it would have been 4th and 20 in an area where a FG was nowhere close to automatic....

IDKAT. Luck looked like Luck when we quit.

This morning im leaning toward coaching/play-calling for the breakdown.

I understand the idea that Whiz is attempting to teach this young team the importance of physically "imposing our will" on a team but I DO believe he did it at the expense of the win. I am in agreement with those that say it backfired. As a fan that was one of THE most demoralizing losses. I can only imagine how it shapes the mind/outlook of a young player.

We tried to start blitzing again after they scored their first touchdown but Luck had gotten into a rhythm and it wasnt working.

Also as well as he played I dont think anyone has pointed out how killer Mariota's interception was that set the Colts up on a short field. If we had gotten anykind of points their then I think we would have been able to hold onto this game.

No disagreement there....that was a back breaker. He completely telegraphed that. However, this is part of the bag that you get when you start a rookie QB right out of the gate IMO. Huge mistake....hopefully he learns from it.

Its a pity that the team was not able to bail him out but he tried to hit those seam shot a couple of times and over threw each one. I wonder if thats why he under threw it the Wright on that play
