Leave it as it is imo.

If people get suckered into a 20 page discussion with an idiot, its their time thats wasted.

If theres one thing Ive learned this past week, its that stupid is stupid and some people really cant help it.

 

Yea with ignore options I don't see this being a problem.

Although I never ignore anything, because I'm nosey and like to put my 2 cents in every piggy bank.

 

I cant tell you how nice it is not seeing certain threads reappear.... Ignore feature, best thing ever..

 

They really don't bother me, if it doesn't interest me it I don't click on it lol

Or I will just to see if there is anything to laugh at.

 

no thread bothers me either, but seeing trash stacked up around you is annoying.

i dont want to have to sort thru 10+ bad threads to find one worth posting in, ignore button cleans things up nicely

when you wipe out the racist, political, or comic book threads you can zip thru this site and find quality stuff

Comic book threads? really dude where the **** are these comic book threads at? I would really love to post in them. And threads for movie adaptions don't count as comic book threads and anyways the last thread that was about one was Ant-Man and its last post is from July.

 

I am not sure why this would be needed. I am not even sure why the whole "ignore thread" thing is necessary, although I guess using that is the user's discretion.

If I don't like a thread or think it is silly in a non-entertaining way I just stop reading it and move on....why is that so hard for folks to do?

That said, stupid threads and stupid comments should be rated as such....no "get out of jail free" adjustment for that IMO.
