I think Hunter needs more snaps or opportunities to catch the ball. He seems like the one who needs to get in a rhythm to be productive. Hard to be consistent when you're only thrown to 3-4 times during an entire game.

PDF file of passing stats per player.

The TE group have a better average catching percentage of 78% than the WR (57%) and RB (61%) groups.

The TE group have a target percentage of 34%, the WR group has 49% and RB group has 17%.

If Harry Douglas is removed from the stats, the WR group has an average catching percentage of 64%.

DMC needs to be put in the slot or out of the backfield. He is a mismatch and almost like another Kendall out there. He has come to play this year and needs to be incorporated more into the passing game.

Basically what we need to do is throw him the ball and not waste time with runs, Whiz seems to think he's a Playmaker so why not only throw instead of run with him....

KW looks really good. I'm excited about him.

Douglas had 1 catch on 8 targets against the Browns. I missed that game for a race, so don't know what happened. He is 5 catches, 8 targets in the other games.

I can't recall seeing Hunter screw up. The catch early Sunday was nice.

DGB is a beast, but I'm not convinced he can run a route.

The thing is, every Defense knows the role of Wright and Douglas, nothing deeper than 12 yds. If you have them both on the field together, the top of the secondary is squeezed.. You have to have a vertical threat (Hunter,DGB) out there to create spacing.

I agree, 8 of those against the Browns when Mariota was rattled and just throwing the ball away

I agree give hunter more chances. But he's best used on the outside and that's where mariota struggles. If he would have hit hunter in stride last week it would have been a td but instead hunter had to make an acrobatic catch

Let's talk about how DGB should play ahead of Douglas.. no brainer! I feel like Whis has a weird thing with rookies...like he automatically feels like they're not ready.. I know Sankey hasn't been great, but he was so adamant about some footwork issues..just weird to me.
