Rumor Bears looking to trade Forte and Jeffery

Gunny is exactly right.....it's a fire sale.

Offer a 6th(starting point)for Jeffery that could turn into 4th

No need for Forte, we already have too many RBs(Unless you can package Sankey or Andrews)

 

I'd trade mettenberger and a 5th for jeffery

 

This might be the best route. If they like mett, it'd be a great move to get either one of these guys for mett.

I know it's been said before, but if mariota goes down what are we playing for? Our team isn't good enough without mariota to compete for anything. I'd roll the dice and trade mett for a contributor in a heartbeat. Metts value to us is way lower than either one of these guys. Thet would both instantly improve an already productive attack.

 

Are there any truths to these rumours? Or just one guy speaking out his blow hole?

 

Do the Bears have any decent linemen we could add to the trade? Give Mett and a pick or 2 for Jeffrey and an OL. Then resign Jeffrey, let KW work the slot and DGB learn. Could be lethal in a couple years.

 

Their LG Matt Slauson has been good so far this year. But he's only average at the end of the day and is too old to trade for (29)... Still an upgrade from what we currently have..
