    Per NFL.com Stats

    Total Offense: #10 (375.7 YPG)
    Offense (Passing): #15 (249.7 YPG)
    Offense (Rushing): #10 (126.0 YPG)
    Offense (Scoring): #5 (29.7 PPG)
    Offense (3rd Down): #17 (40%)
    Offense (TOP): #4 (33.54 MPG)
Offense (Penalty Yards): #17 (195 yards)

    - 3rd down offensive penalties are killing our drives.

    Total Defense: #6 (308.3 YPG)
    Defense (Passing): #5 (194.7 YPG)
    Defense (Rushing): #22 (113.7 YPG)
    Defense (Scoring): #12 (25.7 PPG)
    Defense (3rd Down): #3 (31%)
    Defense (TOP): #4 (26:06 MPG)
Defense (Penalty Yards): #19 (208 yards)

    - Defensive penalties are giving opponents 1st/2nd and short opportunities, in which they are running on those plays and succeeding.

    OVERALL:
Our team has drastically improved from 2014 in most aspects. In all actuality, we should be at least 2-1 at this point. The coaches need to focus on maturity and discipline this bye week, and the wins will come. However, I would expect these rankings to change somewhat by Week 6 since our opponents have not necessarily been the best.

We've only played bad teams so far, obviously we should be ranked high

Yes but even against crap competition last year we weren't sniffing top 10 on offense or defense. We are improved on both sides of the ball.

    this is true

we still need to learn how to score in the 1st quarter. Just 33 points all last year, we're on pace to do better this year but not by much..

defense 25 points per game and we are #6?

Here's an example of how stats can lie. #5 pass defense? It's only impressive until you consider the big plays they've given up.

The Titans are 26th in ypc avg. Not good. Hopefully, McCourty coming back helps.

Wish they would shut down stats, they are about as useful as hen chit on a pump handle.
