So Wisenhunt says he doesn't want to overwhelm him but starts 3 other rookies... And you blame it on Wisenhunt? You think he just has something against DGB? He obviously doesn't have a problem starting rookies, its just DGB isn't ready yet. Guy literally had to be told to line up on the other side of the field in week 1.

One of the biggest issues I see is having 2 slot WRs as our starters. We need some height on the outside to make the other team respect the outside. Right now the teams we face know we pretty much have to play inside. Our starting WRs are made for the inside game. Don't get me wrong, Wright has looked pretty good. However, Douglas is not used to all the attention. He had Julio Jones & Roddy White in ATL that took all the attention & double teams. Now he has to face off and get open. It has to be a big adjustment for him. Delanie Walker was in the same boat w/ the 9ers, but he came out and produced.

I am VERY ready to see at the least a mix of Hunter, DGB, & Douglas as our #2. We need to at least start DGB outside a few games. If nothing else it has to make a psychological impact on the starting DB. I mean the dude is a Monster. I really want to see what he can do with some meaningful snaps outside.

Hunter isnever open not even in College he just needs the QB to trust him and just throw him the ball(up high)and I'm sure we will like the results.

Wright is doing to much Slot /wide /redzone ect ect.. we need to let him be a slot WR and not a number 1.

Douglas his a vet playing like a vet period.

DBG ..I agree with WIZ on this one clearly the guy has the tools but the dude is totally lost out there he needs more time.

I understand he does not know the playbook in its entirety. However, every year a rookie WR comes out raw and does amazing things with their physical ability. I think DGB could have that type of impact if given more of a chance. He WILL makes mistakes, he is a raw rookie. However, I would rather he get his bumps & bruises in now rather than over a 2yr span sprinkled in and out. He may have a rough season, but I doubt it. He has been solid in the red zone. That is one of the toughest spots on the field. If he can produce there, he can contribute in other areas IMO.

I know easing him in probably helps his ego & keeps him hungry. However, DGB does not seem like the type of guy that is going to need his ego stroked.

Maybe it's just seeing him come down with those TDs in the end zone that makes me over-estimate how much I think he can contribute on the field. I just really want to find out sooner than later!! LOL

This is one thing that drives me nuts about Whiz's coaching style. A guy will come in and make a play or maybe he doesn't make a play; either way that guy is pulled because he is not in the next "Package of Plays". I think this hurts our running game. I am shocked our rush yds are as good as they are with this type of system. If a RB gets in a rhythm and is shredding a defense, why pull him from the game??? If the RB needs a breather that is one thing, but to pull the guy just because you want to put in another package seems useless. I have seen this kill drives in our games.

Not playing rookies is a toss up I guess. It seems like winning teams start them early if they are planning on them being a big part of the offense. I think this is to get the growing pains out of the way early. I guess it is different for every player, but I would really like to see more of DGB. I think he can be a huge difference maker for us.

I know he will draw more attention & double coverage than 2 slot WRs.

Hunter made a great catch and dropped a pass close to the 5 yd line. He is not consistent.
