no guarantee he'd come here, other teams with more money than us like the Raiders could throw $70M his way and there goes Jeffery..

by trading for him you'd get him for sure, and most of the time a new deal is agreed upon before he can hit the market

Yeah I get all of that and sure there is no guarantee, but the Titans will have a lot of money to spend this offseason and we can make a very formittable offer. If some team wants to blow through their cap to sign him then let him leave. Who would you rather play for Mariota and a team that doesn't have a #1 WR or Derek Carr and a team that drafted their #1 last year in the top 5?

Honestly if I am Jeffery I go where the QB's are, Im not worried about the other WR already in house. All WR's do better if there is a 2nd threat..

So in conclusion I like our chances as well as anyone's to sign him as a FA, but there's no guarantee in FA, our attention will be on linemen and CB's IMO...

Having a standout receiver will only decrease the hits hes been getting. Jeffery gets open and in a hurry,

We definitely have a good chance to sign him.. If that's the direction we choose to go. I'm not so sure that's what we do. Our regime really seems to like drafting WR's.

Id be surprised if we signed any free agent Olineman that made an impact next year. It's not very often impact Olineman don't get resigned. I think cb and lineman will be the focus in te draft though

Sean Smith of the Chiefs hits FA next year, he has a bad history with alcohol so Id think the Chiefs would not be investing in him, but we're so damn awful at CB we cant afford not to sign the best CB available...

Id expect if we did go after him we'd offer him something similar to Perrish Cox' deal (who BTW also shares a trouble past)

Well if we're gonna stick with 4 receivers you know Justin hunter is as good as gone in the offseason....depending on DBG's growth and development and whether or not Harry Douglas can round into form and stop dropping passes there will most definitely be an open spot at the WR position. Imagine for a sec
DGB on one side, Jeffery on the next and Wright at the slot, where's he's most successful (like a wes welker type role)...Mariota needs all the weapons he can get.
God forbid any of them get hurt you can easily input Douglas....I'm salivating at the very thought

Yeah he would be a good fit here I think but I'm not sure he will hit the market. You never know though.

If we can get some good CB's our defense can improve quickly
