1st Quarter Struggles

    You wouldn't know it looking at this years stats, but the Titans struggle to score 1st quarter points.

    Last years team only scored 33-points in all their 16 games combined, since week-1 the Titans have scored 0-points in the 1st quarter to their opponents 21..

    I attribute this to Whisenhunts conservative nature calling a lot more run plays these last few weeks, but why did he abandon what looked to be a genius game plan from week-1 for this mess we're seeing thats lost us back to back games?

    Im going to go ahead and say it, if we can't get out to a nice lead vs the Bills we're losing that game...

    Does anyone have faith Whiz will get back to the same aggressive style that we used to crush the Buccaneers week-1?

    2015 is slowly taking the form of 2014 all over again... I have concerns...

    I attribute it to our players sucking. Two drops forced two punts in the first quarter last week. Then the Browns game was ruined by penalties thru the first half.

    we're one of the least penalized teams so far, the Browns game was lost on field position IMO, not so much penalties (just 1 defensive flag that game).. Browns started most their drives near mid-field...

    But yea those 2 drops vs Indy hurt...

    First quarter has been owed by dumb mistakes. Whiz wants to keep Yoda relatively clean and pound the rock, that's not a bad idea. Just sucks we haven't been able to achieve it all that early.

    Indy was lost on the first two drives because of drops. Either of those drive go for points, we win that game. Also- first quarter had NOTHING to do with the defense giving up not 1 but 2!!!!! 3rd and 30s

    Yea I was speaking from the offensive side. Third and 20 multiple times throughout the first half due to holds.
