I'm very optimistic about the future, finding a franchise QB is the hardest piece of the puzzle to acquire. I think we've landed that piece of the puzzle and now we just need to build around him. It's only a matter of time now before we're a solid contender again!

One thing i see certain fans do of other fanbases is talk about Tennessee lately limping them in with Tampa Bay,Washington,Cleveland,Buffalo,Oakland,Jax,St. Louis, etc. sure this team has endured some losing seasons the last four to five seasons mainly because we had trouble at the QB spot.

The team picked the wrong QB in the 2011 draft and paid the price. However overall this team has never went more than three years without having a winning season and they were never ever mired in losing as long as the teams i listed and therefore shouldn't be lumped with or compared to them.

1999-2008 the Titans first ten years in Tennessee they were in the top ten overall in NFL wins. People seem to forget Tennessee is nowhere near the level that Cleveland,Jacksonville,Washington,Oakland,Tampa,Buffalo, etc. have been the last fifteen years sure the last few seasons have been tough but since they came to Tenn the team has never went over three seasons without having a winning season afterward.

The team went 13-3 in 2008,8-8 in 2009,6-10 in 2010 and 9-7 in 2011. 2012 through 2014 the last three years have been tough due to not having a franchise QB but now the team has one again. 2012 through 2014 is squarely on Locker he is the reason the team sucked. There have been four first round franchise QB's since 1999 and both McNair and VY left here with winning records as a starter. Only Locker had a losing record. The team is on its fourth franchise QB Marcus Mariota.

True. But that's also his job during the QB camp... to hype up prospects.

I think a lot of fans would like him more if he kept it real....

Jon Gruden is not really a guy I look at for football advice anymore.. He sold out to keep a TV show. Not that Im mad at him for it, he's no Peter King or Cris Collinsworth, still has some of his dignity...

Jon Gruden has never seen a QB he hasn't liked...until he has to actually coach them.

I wouldn't mind a return to the NFL by him, he was a fun coach to follow, and he was fun as a talking head for a while, but Ive gotten tired of his act on TV.

I get that. To the average fan who just watches the game and doesn't know the game like we do they were probably saying "WTF is he talking about!" It's just funny to hear Gruden break down this stuff because he's so animated but then again when your making $6 mil to commentate I'd be doing the same.
