Seriously .. We should win the AFC South

A win at home vs Bills and we are 2-2 which isn't great but could be worse. Next few games are winnable and we'll be right in the thick of things. Bills game is a big one which could turn us in the right direction.

 

I have watched every minute of every game this season, as has been the case with the last several seasons.....I realize that we have improved, and I certainly have enjoyed watching our games this season much more than last season.

Where did I say that the Colts were "far superior" to us? Show me that please before just dumping on the post next time. Never said that. My only point is that a 1-2 team who has lost the only game in division that we have played should not be getting coronated for the playoffs by us. I did not even say that we were not making the playoffs.

Next time you want to slam my post, try responding to what I said rather than some "straw man" that you imagined.

 

I wasn't strawmanning you into saying you were the one saying Colts are far superior. I brought it up as being only one game behind. The Colts would have to be far superior for us to ignore playoff chances.

After seeing the way we played I don't understand how you can be against playoff talk. If you have watched the Colts you know very well we are currently playing the best football in the division. People are correct currently saying we should win the division as we are the team who is playing the best football.

What you did do was instil negativity where playoff chances are still very likely due to the closeness of the records and the level of play the titans have exuded in comparison to our division.

 

Best football in this division is not too hard to achieve right now LOL. That said, we did not look that great against the Browns, and, in the end, moral victories against the Colts do not count. It really does not matter how good we look during the game if we can't finish, which is what happened against the Colts. We are only one game behind after playing 3 games, so, touting that is pretty irrelevant at this point also. Can we improve? Certainly, and we probably will.

AGAIN, I did not say that we are not making the playoffs....as bad as this division is that is possible. And I am not "against" playoff talk. What I am saying is that comments like stated by the OP of this thread, after 3 games in which our only win is against the worst team in the league last season is just a bit premature. "Could" win and "Should" win are two far different points.

Maybe "reality" to you is negative....I can't help that. However, what I did was inject a dose of reality into the discussion.

 

Best football in the division is all you need to be in the playoffs, no need to LOL at that when that is the truth. Correct, moral victories do not count. What does count is the provided game in which we can analyze. My personal analyzation of that game shows tons of opportunity to gain wins in the next 12 games.

If touting we are behind by one game after 3 games is facile, that makes your argument of us being 1-2 facile. Reality is we have a good chance at winning the division, not we shouldn't even be talking about playoff chances.

 

Thanks for making my point. You say we have a "Good" chance, which is a far lower standard than what the OP said (which is what prompted my response). Good chance and "should" are two very different standards.

And, my point is not that we are 1-2, it is that the "1" came against the one team that drafted ahead of us in this year's draft. Until we can win against a better team (which may be today....I am hopeful), I think that we should not use the word "should" when discussing playoff chances.

Were better than jacksonville and houston. But, Jacksonville and Houston are probably the worst teams in the league so really not saying much. If we played TB again would you be confident we would win? Im not so sure.
