Whiz is a loser and so is Fisher. Without McNair being a stud, Fisher never would have a leg to stand on.
Fisher was going nowhere with the Titans, and same with Whiz.

I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder, because Fisher's teams were a trainwreck most of the time. He wouldn't do anything with this scrub crew of players.

 

Honestly, at this point, I'd gladly trade Whiz for Munch. Munch sucked, but Munch would get us to 6+ win seasons with a walking infirmary. We never saw how he'd do with a healthy team (he also had quitters CJ, Britt, and Cook).

The only good thing about Whiz is that he sucked bad enough to land Mariota. That. Is. It.

 

That would be the defensive coaching genius with the French name hired in the offseason

 

I am just afraid that any kind of correction from this point on is going to be in vain. This game cut the heart out of our team because they hyped themselves up for 2 weeks that this where it starts over. We are now 1-3. There is still a slight glimmer of light though as we can now go 7-9 but run the table in the division and go to the playoffs, but we need Indy to lose 1 more game in the division to somebody other than us.

 

Hunter is a bust. Wright is a good slot receiver but not a true #1. DGB might pan out but not sure yet. Imagine if we had a Julio Jones or Hopkins to throw to on 3rd downs.

 

Fisher hasn't had a QB since McNair, yet his teams manage to be competitive. That's a lot more than you can say for Whisenhunt.

And this isn't anything new. I think Fisher is a good coach.

 

Oh come on we were competitive all game. This is a young team that needs to learn to win. We're really close... It sucks, but we're almost there.

 

Is that you Whisenhunt?

 

Yea yea whatever. No secret I think he'll be a good coach for us. I'm frustrated too, but I think firing him week 4 with a rookie QB would be a terrible idea.
