Define "talent". What I see are a bunch of guys who occasionally make a play followed by not executing. Total inconsistency and no real difference-makers.

For a team like that to win, they have to limit mistakes and the they aren't.

Mariota may eventually become a difference-maker. Casey is about as close to one as the team has right now. Wright teases but disappears too much.

The majority of this team are guys who are not going to start on any top 10 team in the NFL. The Titans have blown too many early draft picks on guys who should be the impact players on this roster.

Do you guys think having Warmack gives us that one point that would have been the difference? Me neither. That's why you don't pick a ****ing guard in the top ten.

Wasn't able to watch the game. I listened to most of it on the radio. I just watched the game highlight. The runs Taylor did, he was carrying the ball like a loaf of bread. Surprised no one tried to strip him.

    true, but neither were horsecollars

both were jersey grabs. One called on the Titans was just 15 more yards added to the abortion that was the D playcall on 3rd and 23 from the 10.... just inexcusable

These guys couldn't strip a bra off a woman, much less the ball out of anyone's hands.

coaches are supposed to improve their players

otherwise what is their point, to call timeouts? whisenhunt's too busy calling terrible plays to actually coach, it's ridiculous

Mariota, while still a rookie, is going to be a solid NFL QB. Walker, Casey, McCourty, Morgan and Wright are legitimate starters. The O-line has played good enough to win, but is still very young.

You don't dominate teams like the Titans have the last 2 weeks without good talent. Granted they lost in the end, but that is more a product of bad fundament football not a lack of talent. Tyrod Taylor is an averag QB who broke lose when the Titans lost containment. The guy did it all the time at Virgina Tech, it happens. Should it cost you the game, absolutely not. Those are mistake that need to be corrected and eliminated. Does the coaching staff realize this? Absolutely according to Whiz at each and and every press conference. Can they fix it, that remains to be seen. I do believe this team is close and is a signature win away from blowing the lid off. The roster can always be improved, but the talent is there to win some ballgame a right now.
