I would've liked to see Poutasi beat out Meredith, instead of just handing him the keys. Even if it took 6 games for him to get the schemes and calls down, it could've saved us some hits on MM and you could play the hypothetical game.

It's hypocritical of Whiz when he holds back DGB for that same reasoning.

Poutasi looked good yesterday against a very good DE besides the blown assignment. Why bench/move him to guard?

DGB had to be told where to line up on the field at one point. Much harder for receiver to adjust to NFL then RT. He'll get there when he shows he knows what is going on.

I just hope Cobb comes back and shows he can play, cause all the RBs suck.

People really need to stop believing sites like that. You CAN NOT grade individual positions accurately unless you know the schemes and responsibilities of the team. Which obviously some random website does not.

I'd take "some random website" over any individuals opinion on some message board. Not saying they're always right or its a perfect system, but its better than the "eye" test.

It is not knee-jerk, it is an opinion formed after watching him for each of the first four games. He is not ready to be a starting OT in the NFL, OG though may work for him now.

Uhh how is PFF anything other than the "eye" test? They make a subjective evaluation, without knowing the entire circumstances, assigns it a number and now it's all of sudden better than the assessment you and I can give? GTFO.
Example: If a QB throws an interception, because a WR makes the wrong break on a timing route, the QB will get a negative rating and the WR a good/neutral rating.
Or as I believe the case was in our game: Poutasi doesn't block Williams because a full slide left is called and the RB is supposed to pick up the D EMOL. But the Bills come with a blitz to that side and the protection doesn't get changed pre snap, so the RB is left with 2 guys to block. If Poutasi had decided to pick up Williams instead, the tackle may have come clean through if the RG kept sliding as well. Of course we can't know for sure, because we don't know what protection scheme was called or how the rules are set up. And neither does PFF and therefore their analysis is as useless as mine.

He's better now than at any point in his junior year. Like most of the FSU defenders who were eligible to leave after 2014, he mailed it in.

He had a rough pre-season so it was a little shocking to see him doing so well. I know some people here will be shocked to see that players can actually improve :p

These two things are connected. DGB could be the biggest playmaker on our offense, but instead Whiz wants to limit his snaps?

DGB should be on the other side of Wight.
