And Taylor would be the leading rusher if he faced the Titans every game. This is pointless after the first 5 weeks.

the anti CJ argument is so paradoxical and stupid, yet so typical of this consistently ignorant message board.

"CJ only cared about getting paid/CJ wasn't a team player/CJ was selfish, So CJ did the one thing to guarantee he wouldn't get paid, wouldn't be on the team anymore as a result of getting cut, he quit and stopped trying on the field? Makes zero sense.

The dude came into the league with an unreal offensive line, combined with a rare form of speed and quickness. Over time the line got historically bad and he lost a little speed and quickness but still had enough talent to put up actually somewhat respectable numbers.

Now he's not anywhere near what he was in his 2nd year physically, but he's still a quick back with a lot of experience in the league, and he's running behind a great offensive line with a stellar passing game. Hence why he's producing, imagine that.

good for CJ but I'm glad we didn't pay him no one in their right mind on this board wanted him to stay in Tennessee any longer.

How many years does this guy have to not be a Titan for this handful of members to get off his nuts?

Unfortunately until he stops having decent games or gets hurt. As long as AZ stays in contention and he stays healthy which is something he does well, then these nut huggers will keep feeding this thread.

its simple as this. As far as CJ, releasing him was the absolute no doubt right thing to do. We can argue over blame, but the fact is his last few years here he WASNT good.

Now that said, he was better last year than some admit, and if he had played as he has this year his last few years here and till now, he'd still be a highly paid rb for the titans.

Yes releasing him was correct, because he wasn't producing.

But it was a product of a terrible offensive line, not a lack of skill from CJ. He's got a good line now, and his talent is showing. Simple as that.
