I like Mariota.

Needs to work on not getting stripped so easy in the pocket and work on his down field throws.

 

Not mine. Not even close. In fact, if I ranked Titans in terms of my excitement for their future's, he'd be ranked #1.

 

I place this loss on four things.
1) This loss is a result of piss poor O-line play. This is the worst line I've seen in a long time. Most of the horrible play by Mariota should be blamed on this inept line.

2) This loss is on the Defense. This unit can not stop a toddler chasing a half deflated balloon. I am disgusted by the way they play and we all expect more from a team with TWO 3-4 "geniuses."

3) I blame Mariota. Yes he is a rookie and it says a lot that many of us criticize him like he is a five year vet. However, he made some horrible mental mistakes and must learn how to hold on to the ball.

4) The number one person to point the finger at for this loss is Ken "POS" Whisenhunt. This guy is a joke. I've been a supporter of his from day one but I'm off that train. It is his fault we cannot field a competent unit. Either he cannot not coach, call plays, develop players, etc... OR he cannot not bring in the talent we need to be competitive. It's one or the other. Blame the players all you want but a coach worth a damn can coach players to play better (case and point, Ayers in New England).

I thought it was obvious. 67% QB rating against one of the worst teams in the NFL at home. 5th week in a row declining QB rating. 1-4 record. No more excuses. Winning Qbs don't play like that. It's time to see if Mett has it. If not lets draft the top QB next year.
