Why did the Titans draft Fowler?

I think we'll all love this pick in a few years. He's just not being used enough. If whiz wants to establish a power run game this guy needs to be the the feature back, imo. Put a te (walker or stevens) at fb and give the rock to fowler. He can run, block and catch (so could the fb- walker or stevens). A lot of different stuff could be ran with that setup. If your going to rotate 3 crap to o.k. backs then why not give fowler more touches. He's an extremely versatile player, that just needs more pt. I still love the pick even in the 4th.

 

I guess I'm not too sure who this guy is.. Because Ryan Fowler came to mind when I saw this thread.

Why did we draft a blocking TE in the third round (Craig Stevens)? Why did we trade up for Jared Cook?

We brought him in here to get stuffed from the 1 so the Colts could beat us yet again.

 

My entire HS football coaching staff were semi pro players, they assured me no college program on Earth could hang with even the Browns at that time...

I wouldn't mind seeing the NCAA Champions play with the NFL's worst team the week after the Super Bowl tho. Id imagine that would keep a team from trying to tank, pretty embarrassing if they actually had to go play another game months after their season ended...

 

Id say give Fowler some more time before questioning why he's here.

Keep in mind Whiz always tries to ease his rookies into the swing of things. He didnt turn to Avery Williamson til Mid-late October last year, and thats worked out well so far...

Taylor Lewan and Bishop Sankey also didn't get much burn til October then either....

I think its just how Whiz treats his rookies...
