Yes he does and he throws it 3 feet higher then they can jump most of the time.

 

1. I want Mett to throw for 500 yards and 5 TD's so he can get traded for next year so I don't have keep reading posts about a 6th round guy who hasn't done anything in the league, yet he is supposedly the second coming of Brett Favre already! I have never seen a % of franchise so riled up over a "potential" strong armed guy.

2. Would like Mett to do well so the 5 guys who bombard this site with all negative MM and positive Mett posts can start their own website and post there all day long

3. I have never seen a fan base turn on a guy(MM) 1 game after getting rookie of the month, so he must be doing something right no??..MM will succeed in this league, but he is just a rookie ...he will succeed because he is a very smart guy and works hard.

He will never be a rah rah type of guy so he will have to perform to earn respect. I cant think of many great QB's who lit it up as a rookie. Especially when they go to terrible teams.

4. But I think Titans are a up and comer. They play defense pretty well/hard despite the fetal position they took the last game. They just need to learn how to finish. MM's mistakes come when he isn't protected or when we are behind and the defense knows we have to pass. During normal situations, he doesnt throw a lot of picks, he never has. The one thing he needs to do is hang onto the damn football and this will happen when he learns to have better pocket awareness. He has always been terrible at this. He also needs to use his legs more. I know he isn't running on purpose, but this is too big of a weapon to not use as it can and will win us games.

Yes the MM homers will support him to no end, but we also are realistic about his limitations. Unlike the Mett supporters who appear completely delusional.

 

Honest question, what's your excuse if Mett has a bad game and they lose? I'm a Mett fan and didn't want Mariota, but I've jumped on board as he's shown a lot of promise.

If Mett doesn't perform, are you going to give this act up?

 

I'm for Mett because it's obvious the talent is there, unlike Mariota. If Mett has a bad game (which I doubt) then it's just one game.

 

So you're saying Mariota has no talent? While I agree Mett has talent, to say Mariota doesn't is retarded. So Mett gets a pass, but Mariota doesn't after showing great skills? You can't even be taken remotely seriously, terrible troll?

Sadly behind this swiss cheese oline, I wouldn't even be surprised.

 

When the oline has you getting hit fast nearly every play, you don't have time for a longer play to develop. Mett will have the same problem tomorrow, but THEN you'll blame the crapy oline.
