Climer wants the team to be sold

The fans are not the issue. Give them success and they will come. Give them crap week after week and they will find something else to do. You should ask yourself why the family seemingly switched off after Bud went , as if , like , they thought he'd live forever ; playing with his toy.

 

You can laugh GOT but I'm right. You ever been to Chicago for a Bears game? Road the train in? I know that's an extreme case, but other cities party hard for football. DIfferent atmosphere and culture.

How many times have you seen other teams come in and their fans lead chants in our home stadium? Do you see people checking those guys?


I agree that the fans can't win games, but they can help motivate a team and their bahavior affects the experience of everybody.

I don't want them to sell the team. I want to always be in the area come Fall.

 

I wish our fanbase was better BUT...

But with Chicago, Philly, New York, etc etc those fanbases are established over 50+ years and are in larger populated areas. Even New England fans talk about how there were no diehard Pats fans until Brady/co. started up.


The other But is our team is wholly unlikeable. There are more players I actively dislike on our roster than like with the vast majority of players just feeling indifferent about. If we got a few players that acted like they want to play in Nashville and are grateful to to be in the league it would be easier to show support. That's been one great thing about Mariota.

 

Never said the fans are the issue, but it's a crap fan base, nonetheless.

Fans should be more pissed off than they are... That's all I'm saying. The majority of our fans just sit there on their phones the whole game... even when we're playing well.

Whiz/Webster would be long gone if this team were in the northeast... because the fans and local media would've blasted them non-stop and ownership would've realized their fans ain't messing around.

 

You can blame this on technology turning everyone into overly selfish people. I agree that people need to be more pissed off, this chit would not fly in Philly, NY, or NE. We are a very fickle fan base but the reality is we didn't used to be this way. Going through what we have over the last decade has conditioned us to the fans we are now, pessimistic downers that have a hard time thinking we will ever win a game.

 

thats largely due to instant success. One day TN had no team, next day theyre playing for a Super Bowl.. It came too easy, and fans got used to it... But when we began losing a lot... The end.

 

It's not even that I hate the Adams family. It's just that this current structure clearly isn't working. All major decisions for this team need to be in the hands of a single person with a CLEAR and COMPETENT vision for this team. Maybe the grandson could be that guy. Maybe not. But this current mess we're in is only digging the hole deeper and deeper.

 

SO, lets talk about ways to we bring it to the owners attention that we are paying attention to them and their silence on this train wreck of a franchise. Of course we can boycott buying gear and not going to games, but we need more in your face type methods of getting that message out.

 

Just ROFL at complaining about a franchise not even 20 years olds fan base. The only reason teams like the Bears and Lions have a nice supportive fan base is because their team has been around for eons. When you three generations of family raise their kids to that fanbase, it grows.

Ours will too in 50 years if we stick around.
