Once again, you've put words into my mouth. I never said anything close to this.

What I said is Horton has shown NOTHING to make me think he's an upgrade. What has he shown you to make you think he improves this team at all?

The main appeal I would see is that he gets his tryout with a good part if the season left. If he performs, he gets another look next season or so. If not, he gets cut loose at the end of the season.

What have got to lose? We are going nowhere in a hurry this season, and it is crystal clear to me that Whis will continue to lead us nowhere, so why keep on the course to nowhere?

That said, there is a less than 5% chance that anything happens before the end of the season, and not such a great chance that anything happens at that point either because of our absentee ownership.

Who the he'll cares about improvement TJ? That's just stupid, you think the Dolphins sat around and debated on improvement coming from naming Dan Campbell their interim?

Heads need to roll, it's a statement that needs to be made, players need to get the message. If Horton sucks, he sucks, oh well. He's gone at the end of the year anyway. However, the dude was on the hot list of Head Coaching candidates before coming here working under Whiz. So what if the players respond and he shows competency? It's an audition

We know Whiz sucks, why keep letting him poison our club?

Horton had an audition and blew it. But let's make him HC?

I'm no fan of Whiz. Never was. I'm among the few who was critical of the hire. But Horton has shown me nothing. I'd rather see anyone else on the staff get an "audition".

So you're willing to give all other coaches on the staff an audition, including previous HCs that were horrible instead of one of the top candidates just 2 years ago?

Seems like you've got some unbridled hate for Horton

No hate. Horton seems to be a nice guy. But, based on his job last year, he would be a horrible HC.

BTW, Whiz was a top candidate just two years ago too.

Idc who takes over as interim I'm more about the message it sends to everyone by firing whiz. We're not going anywhere anyway so mine as well put everyone on notice and start fresh after this disaster of a season is over.
