Maybe but Sankey and Hunter both haven't lived up to their draft positions. They are just two immediate examples. And there were better options at the time both based on need and value. We wasted a lot of LB picks in rounds 2-3 under his direction. Again- the OL was screaming for attention with good value in those rounds.

Is he a victim of bad scouting? Was it all Lake Dawson's fault who got booted? I know but Webster is paid well because he accepts the responsibility of player personnel and other GM responsibilities.

I think you need to go back and look at the year Webster took over as GM. Verner, JMac, and Mariani were before Webster's time. Let's go ahead and give him credit for those picks though, that makes sense...

Stafford has been a solid player for us? lol ok... I'd love to see the stats that back that up. Remember you said "solid" player not just that he sees action on the field. He's a "solid player".

If we are so good at developing players late in the draft like you claim we are then that makes the 1-3 round whiffs look that much worse.

Umm well show me where I said we should hit on every player rounds 1-4. We don't have much to show for our drafts rounds 1-3 since Webster has been here. That is a fact unlike some of these claims you are making. I can gladly show you teams in that time span that have drafted well in rounds 1-3.

No one is claiming that you have to hit on every single player.

You are acting as if we don't think Whisenhunt was a problem too. That's not the case. Munchak was a problem and Whisenhunt was a problem. Webster is also part of the problem. He deserves to go just as much as those first 2 guys did. No one is trying to pin the blame on one guy. When a team is this bad for this long its more than one person that is to blame.

The common theme here is that the more time these players had with Whiz, the worse they got!

Hunter looked great as a rookie, loads of potential, then Whiz sh1ts on him. Sankey was a breakout candidate and looked really solid the first 2 games this year, then Whiz sh1ts on him.

How has Wright looked since Whiz?

DGB couldn't see the field as Whiz was publicly challenging his intelligence.

Whiz possibly destroyed the confidence of this entire OL while sacrificing the health of both of his prized QBs! The franchise MM and Mett, tell me how that helps the team?

How does that help Lewan and Poutasi?

Do you think national writers are so clueless as to name Titans as breakout candidates? National pundits don't care about the Titans, so if they write something about theses players, that means they see some excellent qualities and serious playmaking ability.

Now we are talking about 2 completely different topics. I agree on Whisenhunt! He was a bad head coach. I didn't like the hire when it happened and I will not defend him and his time here. He needed to go. He wasn't properly utilizing our players.

Hunter has had plenty of oppurtunity and with more than 1 coaching staff and hasn't done anything. Justin Hunter cannot be blamed on Whis only. It was a bad pick and it hasn't panned out no matter who the coach is.

You can't credit the coaches for developing players late in the draft and then blame those same coaches for our 1-3 round blunders.

But because a national media writes about Sankey and Hunter doesn't mean anything lol it was a bad pick plain and simple. Plenty of national media outlets were writing and talking about JaMarcus Russel does that make it a good pick?

I'm not crediting these coaches developing any players offensively, I don't know where you got that I had

You have given credit to Webster for a couple late round offensive guys and saying they are good picks because they are starters.

When I look at the past couple of drafts I can only find fault with 2013, which so far has been terrible. Warmack and Hunter still have a chance to salvage some, but it's not looking good. However 2014 and 2012 were good and 2011 decent. Jury is out on 2015, but looking good so far.

    Bullsh1t.

Those guys have walked in as starters, not been developed at all. I assume you're talking about Schwenke, Mett and Poutasi? I can't think of any other "late round" offensive picks
