Via free agency our top priority has to be to fix this line. We need 2 signings here, one t and one interior. If berry is available he needs to be another top priority (2nd), as he can play both s positions and nb if needed. If berry isn't available we need to look for a cb or s. 3rd we need depth/possible starter at ILB and olb (a versatile guy is preferred).

In the draft our top priority should be cb/s. If we can sign 4 or 5 starter/role playing guys in free agency, we can just go bpa at rb, wr, oline, dl and lb the rest of the draft.

Last off season we signed 3 key guys on our d and 3 decent o contributers. If we can repeat this we will be in good shape. I would love to see glenn, berry and ramsey here next year.

Titans CB Jason McCourty is getting a second opinion on his injured groin.

McCourty missed the first four weeks of the season after undergoing surgery on his groin this preseason. McCourty did not practice last week and was inactive against the Saints. It is possible he is dealing with a serious injury.

We may be needing to accelerate our CB plans.

As we've seen year after year, it's almost impossible to fix a broken team in free agency. You can plug a few holes, but you can't fix the degree of problems the Titans have.

This team simply has to start drafting better. It's the only way to turn some of these major positional weaknesses (you could argue every positional group except QB is well below NFL average) into strengths.

DL is at least average. If you look just at starters then we have strong LBs.

I'd absolutely love to get DeMario Davis here. He's a very solid LB for the Jets, getting better every year. Great, sure tackler and quick enough to cover tight ends pretty good. He hasn't been asked to blitz alot from his position so he doesn't have many sacks. He's from Arkansas State University, grew up in Mississippi. He's also very fond of Nashville as he is a cousin of Steve McNair grew up rooting for the Titans. Would also be pretty cheap I'd imagine.

A few ideas that I love.

Sign Eric Berry, MLB and a RT. Depth signings at OLB, G, and DL

    Draft
    1. Jalen Ramsey
    2. WR
    3-7 Best Available.

Our secondary would be very good and a even better pass rush. Top 6-7 defense.

Can anyone name the last safety to go top half of 1st worth a damn?

JMAC will be shut down for season ending groin/hernia surgery. We rushed him back instead of putting him and Sammie Hill on PUP as I suggested

Whatever we do, we need to draft defense, bigtime, and take yet another high pick on the OL.

I think our main focus should be defense through the draft and offense through free agency.

Find a RT, bring in competition at LG and C, bring in another rotation back to pair with Andrews and I guess Sankey, another vet at WR. We're already set with Mariota, Lewan, Warmack, Walker, Wright, and DGB. The RB position is a bit of a mess but can buy us time one more season until Fournette or Cook. Hunter puts up or shuts up this season and the OL may actually be in capable hands for the first time in a while.

Draft, get our DB of the future. McCourty isn't a true #1 CB and is getting up there in age and Griffin is old as well and isn't really that good. Spend a mid-round pick on an OLB to groom and/or replace an injured Morgan or Orakpo. Find an answer at ILB to replace Brown. You build up the defense with youth and talent, along with a mix of vets and you're set as long as they continue to develop and our next HC brings in a good DC or keeps Lebeau/Horton.
