I see where you are going with this JC. I think TB and Carr are playing lights out. I actually prefer Carr but I like both.

BUT with looking at the stats that you gave, I want to bring up the fact that people feel that MM plays too safe. I mean with 10 turnovers, yes he's been known to hold onto the ball too long looking for the open receiver or forcing it to average wr's but sheesh! The guy has 13 TDs and 10 turnovers! He's been tryna do work! It's so hard to judge a first year qb by wins and losses but it's easy to see if he's progressing. By first year comparisons it's hard not to be in love with MM. Damn I'm really not trying to sound like a homer! haha

These stats are kinda meaningless unless MM and TB played on the same teams against the same teams for these seven games.

For what he was handed, Mariota is damn near a miracle worker. If the Titans can get anything resembling a pro-football offensive line, a run game, and some consistent WRs for him to throw to, there's no doubt in my mind he'd wind up being the best of everyone mentioned in this thread.

for sure, but he himself could work on some things.

his ball handling is very scary, way too many balls bounce around... He's always had that issue, IDK if he can fix it either... If he could he would, right...

Oh I definitely agree. Watching Mariota move with the ball is generally terrifying since he likes to handle it like a hot potato for whatever reason.

"Hey! Defense! Watch me juggle and run!"

They haven't beaten a team with a winning record this season! FACTS ARE FACTS.

Clutch? Depends how you define it, but considering the Vikings haven't made playoffs in the "Bridgewater era", he can't be that clutch.

True, but as a Titans fan isn't it weird if you prefer another QB? Especially one that is as equally unproven as the one we have?

Eh, I think the argument can be made that homerism is the worst kind of fandom as well. To hear some people say they'd rather have McNair than Peyton is pretty horrible. There's people on here that would take McNair over every QB ever, that's homerific.
