I am starting to think that they most efficient way to get out of this **** hole we are in is to stockpile draft picks and target good FA depth players. I don't think paying tons of money for stars in 1 or 2 positions is going to do it. We need draft picks and a LOT of them, but before we do that we need a new CEO, GM, and HC to restart this whole thing over.

Also, we need to be willing to objectively look at our roster to let go of some personnel, that simply put, are badddd. What I fear is that we will use the "we need bodies" excuse to justify keeping some of these clowns around. An example? Michelle Griffin. No more paying for leadership alone.

 

luckily the Griffin era is nearly over, I never in my wildest dreams thought Id see the day he made it to the end of that contract, thought for sure he was gone in 2012, but he's still here lol

Just pay him what is owed and let him walk. Give me Casey, Mariota, Orakpo, Williamson, Daquan Jones, Wright, Searcy, and Delanie Walker as a base and then the rest are people I would consider moving on from after a replacement has been found for each one. Seriously, there are only 8 player on this roster that are worth the money they are getting paid for production.
