I think it's pretty clear at this point that you dont pay attention to college football outside of your immediate area.

First it was the clueless remarks about Arkansas progression.. now you're saying Les Miles would have the pick of the openings? Have you seen the man manage a game before? He can literally have a time out in his pocket, have the ball on the goal line, and let time expire to lose the game. Only one of many many example of his incompetence.

It's not hard to look like a decent coach when your university consistently recruits in the top 10. Put him in a school where he has to actually earn his keep and you'll see why LSU fans are sick of him.

He's not terrible.. he's just mediocre.. a relic of the early 00's

Do you even know where my immediate area is?

You're telling me Les Miles wouldn't be a highly sought after head coach? Outside of Southern Cal, he would be one of the top choices for pretty much any opening out there.

I completely agree that I've seen him mismanage the clock on numerous occasions but don't act like NCAA football doesn't recycle coaches who've had success.

As for Arkansas's progression, I think you're giving them a lot of credit for beating a less than mediocre Auburn team in 4 OTs, beating an overrated Ole Miss team in OT thanks to a desperation lucky play, and beating a one-dimensional LSU team that played into Arkansas's defensive strength.

Allen's progressed but that's about it. It's pretty clear you don't pay attention.

Les Miles won't get any job he wants. He'll still be a HC, but the guy is mad overrated. He can't manage during games and only had the talent that he has because of his recruiting region and his coaching staff. He should hope Saban retires after this year so he can snag Clemson's job. Meaning Dabo to Alabama.

I'm not claiming any job he wants but South Carolina Miami Mizzou Maryland North Texas Illinois UCF Hawaii or ULM would probably be happy to have him. Those are the current openings excluding SoCal.

And do you think Bama would want Dabo? Not arguing just curious if he fits into the Bama perception.

That's true. I just don't know if the Bama faithful would like him to be the face of the program with his goofiness and locker room dancing.

I doubt Miles stays in the SEC. There may already be something in his contract about it.. dunno what it says but I do know his buyout is high dollar.

Regardless, Les Miles isnt as great as youre making him out to be. South Carolina has quietly had a lot of success in recent years under Spurrier.. I doubt they want to set their program back 5 years with Miles. Mizzou is in a similar boat and neither program enjoys the hot bed of recruiting that LSU has to offer.

I would be shocked if Miles ever coached in the SEC again. Pretty sure he's either headed north or east
