I haven't even seen Alex Collins play, besides this last week vs LSU. He dominated that game, but not going to form an opinion off 1 game. I'll have to check him out more, because sadly we need to take ANOTHER runningback early.

We'll obviously have a top 3 pick this coming up draft. No doubt we'll draft an OL within the first two picks.

This is exactly why this franchise isn't successful. We have to use valuable draft picks and the majority of our FA capspace every single year on the O-line and never get it right! While other teams are building up skill positions, we a busy signing 3 O-linemen and drafting 2 more every single year.

You're probably right, but about the only way I'd be even remotely ok with it is if we find a legitimate RT in free agency, move Lewan to LG, and put the rookie at LT. At least this way 4/5 of the positions are taken care of.

Using the 10th, 11th and potential 1st picks in 3/4 drafts is just disheartening though. A total waste of resources.

I'm confused. Why would we switch the position of our best O-linemen? Has Lewan ever even played guard?

He was the top backup at G his rookie year(pretty much every spot other than C). I think he started at G during the preseason his rookie year and then switched to LT when the 2s went in.

Think we signed Cox to a 3yr deal. I LOVE the idea of cutting Griffin. Ramsey would be an immediate upgrade IMO. I do think we should strongly consider a CB to fill in for or replace McCourty. The past 2 seasons he seems to be hurt more than on the field; and much less effective when he is on the field.

AMEN. There are way too many times that Griffin has half heartedly attempted arm tackles that resulted in big & scoring plays. He is no where near the player he was in his 1st couple of years. He has an over inflated contract that pays him WAY more than he is worth. It's time to cut the cord on this one.

IMO he is the weakest link in our defensive chain. He is allowing as many if not more big plays than Sensabaugh. With Coty Sensabaugh I can get past it easier. He is playing out of position, he should be a NB at best. Definitely not starting on the outside. Griffin has played poorly in his position for years.

Injuries, lack of depth, and poor FS play in the secondary are what is keeping us from being that elite defense that carries us.
